Insurance & Costs at Hybrid Physical Therapy in Pflugerville
We want paying for physical therapy to feel simple. Here is who we work with, how to check your benefits before you come in, and what happens at your first visit. If anything is unclear, call us at (512) 240-2204 and we will walk you through it.
Insurance plans we accept
We are in-network with these plans:
-
Blue Cross Blue Shield
-
Medicare
-
Frontier
-
Sana Benefits
Coverage depends on your specific plan, so it is worth confirming your benefits before your visit. The steps below show you how.
Don't see your plan, or prefer not to use insurance?
You are welcome here either way. Many patients choose self-pay for the flexibility, and no referral is needed for self-pay visits. HSA and FSA cards can be used for both self-pay and insurance visits. Your therapist will explain how self-pay works in person, so you can ask questions and decide what makes sense for you. No pressure and no obligation.
How to check your benefits
-
Grab your insurance card. Have your member ID and the member services phone number on the back handy.
-
Call the number on your card. Ask for your outpatient physical therapy benefits.
-
Ask these questions: Do I have outpatient physical therapy coverage, and does my plan require a referral or prior authorization? What is my copay or coinsurance for a PT visit? Has my deductible been met this year? Is there a limit on the number of PT visits per year?
-
Call us with any questions. We are at (512) 240-2204 and happy to help you make sense of what your plan told you.
What to expect at your first visit
Your first visit is a one-hour, one-on-one evaluation with your physical therapist, and treatment is part of that first visit.
-
Before you arrive: complete your intake forms online and bring your referral if your plan requires one. Wear comfortable, athletic-style clothing so you can move easily.
-
We assess first. We ask about your history, then perform tests and measures to find the cause of your pain.
-
We explain what we find. You will hear the "why" behind your pain in plain language, along with your plan of care.
-
We treat you that day. Depending on what you need, that can include manual therapy, joint manipulation, dry needling, cupping and other modalities.
-
You leave with a plan. You get a home exercise program to start working on weak or tight areas.
